Community Support Companions

Trusted companionship. Safe transport. Greater independence.

Friendly, dependable support for older adults and anyone who needs a little help getting out, attending appointments or staying connected.

When You Need A Trusted person

Sometimes people do not need formal care. They need a trusted person who has time: someone to drive them safely, walk beside them, wait during an appointment, help with shopping or share a conversation. Community Support Companions bridges the gap between doing everything alone and needing a traditional care service.

The Community Support Companions Story

Community Support Companions is a local father-and-son business created around a simple belief: people deserve time, patience and genuine human connection.

Nigel brings decades of professional leadership, community involvement and experience building trusted relationships. His son brings energy, practical ability, a younger perspective and the opportunity to develop a meaningful long-term career. Together, they aim to create a dependable service that families would feel comfortable using for their own parents or loved ones.

The business is rooted in the Rhondda. It is intended to be personal rather than anonymous, professional without feeling clinical, and flexible enough to respond to what each client actually needs.

Why Community Support Companions?

  • A familiar and consistent service rather than a different driver or visitor each time.
  • A blend of life experience, energy, empathy and local knowledge.
  • A genuine commitment to building a respected community business for the long term.
  • Accountability: clients and families know who is providing the service.
